Official Painting
William Dobbie is producing a series of prestige oil painting to celebrate the visit to Greenock by the tall ships fleet.
The official print has been taken from one of these paintings and will be available on site at the Art Marquee at James Watt Dock.
In 1999, after the last visit of the Tall Ships to Greenock, William Dobbie funded placements with the Sail Training Association for 2 young people nominated by leading Scottish Charities. It is his intention to at least match that following the 2011 visit.
Please visit www.finescottishart.co.uk to purchase a print.
View the magnificent original paintings at the Majesty and Grandeur exhibition, RIG Gallery, Pottery St, across the road from the main Tall Ships site. 10am till 5pm every day till Friday 15 July. Website: www.rig-art.co.uk; email: missing email.
